Delete your account

Applies to the iPhone app, the Android app and the web app. Developer: Shanan Cohen (Group App LLC).

In the app (immediate)

Open the Account tab (bottom bar).
Scroll to the bottom and tap delete my account permanently (or delete my guest data from the server if you never created an account).
Confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

You can also do this from the web app, signed in with the same account:

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, email shancoh18@gmail.com from the address on the account (or tell us your RIMON friend code). We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, password hash, and Sign in with Apple / Google identifiers (a Sign in with Apple sign-in is also revoked with Apple).
Your practice data: points, streaks, per-blessing counts, badges and daily history.
Your board memberships, every chat message you posted, reports and blocks you filed.
Any push token (Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) and web push subscription.

What is kept

Nothing tied to you. A leaderboard you owned passes to another member so the group keeps its history; your row and your messages are gone from it.
Encrypted daily backups of our database age out within 30 days; a deleted account is not restored from them.
Progress stored only on your phone (guest use without an account) is yours to clear by uninstalling the app.
